Marco R. Coulter
Decisive IT strategist and leader known as an IT thought leader and industry spokesperson
Mr Coulter brings a decisive operational vision to information technology strategy and execution. Preferring the CTO title to refer to Chief Translation Officer, he bridged the divide from client desire to viable business solution at startup TheInfoPro as well as in $B companies including CA Technologies and CSC.
Absolutely averse to 'not-built-here’ seclusion, Marco is known as a strong leader, mentor and motivator creating new levels of expectation within teams to challenge the status quo. Today’s world needs international business insight and Mr. Coulter’s experience remotely managing international staff and off-shore processes prepared him to guide companies making the transition from technology-driven to customer-driven.
Most recently as an analyst at 451 Research, Marco has paid back to his industry by advising startups and global multinational companies on technical direction and the needs of enterprises. His career recurs around business growth and identifying new products despite reaching across finance, enterprise software and healthcare verticals and traversing the breadth of data center operations, software/hardware purchasing, product design and development, and marketing.
A dual US/Australian citizen, Mr Coulter is a University of Queensland alumni residing in Manhattan where he is also an occasional NY correspondent for an Australian-based web show.
